This course covers knowledge and skills needed to guide a young violinist's progress through the beginning stages, including preparing students and parents for the first lesson, establishing foundational instrumental skills; developing pulse, pitch and rhythm reading; exploration of Suzuki philosophy and the pedagogy of Rolland; supplemental repertoire and more.
