    POWR 1500 Power Plant Orientation (2L,2LB,3CR) This first semester course will be designed to address basic energy industry principles and power plant systems overview. Students will be introduced to power plant operations and explore in-depth the circulating water, raw water, condensing, condensate, feedwater and steam systems and their relationship to plant operation. These systems will be described and proper operating procedures will be explained. The philosophy and conceptual framework of the Casper College power technology program are explored.     POWR 1600 Power Plant Supply and Control I (2L,2LB,3CR) This course is designed to address power plant fuel supply, air supply, bottom ash and flyash disposal, auxiliary cooling water, and control systems. Students will be introduced to a supply systems overview. The uses of and relationships among auxiliary water, operating air, ignition oil, ash disposal and coal fuel systems will be explored as they relate to electric power production.
