Students develop the knowledge and skills necessary to install, configure and administer a basic Linux-Based systems. Students examine the basic concepts of Linux operating systems and architecture. Topics covered include an introduction to Linux ecosystems, manual Linux installation, accessing help resources, software management, file management and directory structure, command line administration, process management, and basic network configurations. At the conclusion of this course, students may be eligible to sit for a relevant industry certification exam.
