Fundamental principles and practices of of public health systems in developing countries will be presented including epidemiology, etiology, integrated management, will be presented within the context of globalization, climate change, and socio-economic, political and cultural constraints. Principles will be illustrated by case studies of major health issues in an interdisciplinary, holistic manner. Cross listed with HLSC 4520.
