This specialized course addresses anatomy and physiology of the vocal instrument and the scientific principles surrounding it, studio teaching techniques, student learning styles, repertoire assignment, and all aspects of establishing a private studio. The last quarter of the class includes an in-class, supervised teaching unit. Prerequisite: 8 credit hours of voice or permission of instructor. (Offered alternate spring semesters)
