Gives students opportunity to utilize and synthesize the basic concepts of professional nursing. Includes intensive clinical experience that allows students to become socialized into a health care delivery system, gain confidence in performing motor skills in a variety of situations, practice critical thinking in making ethical and clinical decisions, and develop leadership in providing nursing care. Offered S/U only. Prerequisites: BSN - all required courses in the nursing major; RN/BSN - PHCY 4450 and 4470; NURS 3010, 3020, 3040, 3630, 4150; NURS 4240, 4250 or concurrent enrollment.
