Focuses on the vulnerability associated with mental health, psychiatric illnesses. Core public health functions of community assessment, essential health services, disaster preparedness, health policy development/global health care are also emphasized to implement population-based nursing interventions. Prerequisites: Successful completion of NURS 3770 and NURS 3771; concurrent enrollment in NURS 4710 and NURS 4735.
