The stress process and its relationship to the concept of total health. The physical and psychological effects of stressors and individual appraisals will be explained using theoretical models and practical examples. Students learn how to personally identify and manage stress in a healthy manner. Emphasis is placed on learning effective skills to reduce harmful effects of stress. Prerequisites: junior class standing.
