Examines ethnic-owned media organizations in the United States. The course addresses African American, Latino, Asian, Native American as well as Arab American owned media. We examine the markets and audiences that ethnic owned media serve and the implications of regulatory, economical, and technological changes in the media industry. Cross listed with COJO 4231.
