Introduces current learning theories/perspectives that advance understandings previously developed. It helps broaden learning/teaching from a more holistic perspective towards sociological and cultural dimensions within the globalized contexts. Topics include learning in social contexts, influences of globalization, technology, economic development, and culture. Additionally, Non-western perspectives will be reviewed/discussed.
