The management of real and perceived risks is a conerstone of Outdoor Recreation. This course is an integrated approach to risk management in the field of outdoor recreation, focusing on negligence, accident process, risk management plans and post-incident management. Students will gain practice in documentation, reporting, and emergency communications through case studies and practical scenarios, as well as learn best practices for teaching participants about managing inherent risks.
