Students will learn how to use digital cameras, compose and edit photographs, and use photo editing software. The class will begin with an investigation of photography techniques before moving through a series of assignments designed to create an understanding of how to compose a body of photographic work around a specific theme or concept. Lectures will focus on?the concepts, history, and ethical implications of photography while?regular critiques will guide students towards creating a final portfolio of images.
