EMS 2700 Paramedic II (7L, 3LB, 8CR) Incorporating pathophysiology and epidemiology into decision-making, the candidate is introduced to more advanced Paramedicine with the formation of treatment plans for medical patients, and understanding the kinetics and homeostatic requirements of trauma patients. Field experience will be provided to reinforce the advanced treatment processes learned. Students will participate in Specialty Certifications. Prerequisites: Students must successfully complete EMS 2600 with a letter grade of ""B"" or higher. Students must be enrolled in EMS 2971.
