This course will address the biology and ecology of lower eukaryotic life-forms. Topics include: marine phyto- and zooplankton, terrestrial and fresh water aquatic micro-algae, protists, the evolution of multicellularity, and a phylogenic survey of microscopic multi-cellular life. Cross-listed with MICR 3021. Prerequisites: MOLB/MICR 2021, General Microbiology.
