Students continue their clinical observation of practices and procedures in speech-language pathology as preparation for clinical fieldwork. Observations can occur in diverse settings, including educational institutions, medical facilities, assisted living centers, private clinics, and assigned online observations.?Students are required to complete a total of 12 hours of observation across these settings. Additionally, they will write observation reports, develop lesson plans and treatment session objectives, draft SOAP notes, and engage in data collection activities. Prerequisite: Completion of SLPA 1502 or instructor consent.
