Procedures including evaluation of blood samples, pretransfusion compatibility testing, and transfusion reactions are studied. Laboratory emphasizes modern practices, resolution of compatibility problems and advanced antibody identification methods.Prerequisites: Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP) certification or completion of an AS degree in medical laboratory technician within last 5 years.
