MKT 1101 - First-Year Seminar:

Institution:
University of Wyoming
Subject:
MKT
Description:
The world around us is made up of phenomena we immediately apprehend through our five senses. This class is about signs and symbols, and how marketers use them to achieve their goals. We'll find that the world is full of such signs. Think of Nike's swoosh, or the Mercedes-Benz hood ornament. While the signs may be different, the goals, and the ways in which they make meaning, are usually the same.
