An introduction to molecular biological processes governing cellular events is presented in the context of the structure of genomes, genes and chromosomes, DNA replication, gene expression, signal transduction pathways and the regulation of cellular processes in disease and development. Experimental methods and technologies will also be discussed. Normally offered fall semester.Prerequisites: LIFE 1010 and CHEM 1030; MOLB/MICR 2021 recommended.
