In this course students will participate in an extensive practicum experience for prospective educators in an accredited school under the supervision of a certified teacher. For 3 credits students spend 1 hour per week in the college classroom preparing their portfolios, studying for the Praexis, and writing about their classroom experiences.?The balance of time is spent in the classroom under supervision of a teacher. Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisites: Complete EDFD2020-Foundations of Education and EDFD2100-Educational Psychology and instructor consent.
